TRANSLATION

Translation is the art of rendering written messages from one language into another.

Translation is present in many fields, from books, to recipes, technical manuals, medical leaflets, films, product labels, sports equipment... and so much more.

INTERPRETATION

Interpreting is the transmission of oral speech from one language to another. It comes in many forms:

Simultaneous interpreting is interpreting while the speaker is speaking. It is very common at events such as congresses, senior management meetings, or conferences where more than one language is spoken.

Consecutive interpreting is carried out by note-taking. It is necessary at press conferences, meetings, or presentations where there is only one speaker.

Bilateral or liaison interpreting alternates between two languages and is used in public services. Telephone interpreting shares the same areas, but is used for specific problems.
